How Our Wigs Are Made

One supplier, ten-plus years

Every human hair wig we sell comes from the same supplier we've worked with since we opened our doors. Over more than ten years we've built a close working relationship with them, and that time shows in the consistency of the hair we receive, wig after wig. We still work closely with them, because great can always be better.

Brazilian hair, from one or two donors

Our wigs are made from Brazilian hair. Each wig is made from the hair of just one or two donors, this prevents tangling and mating through ensuring that the cuticles of the hair stay aligned. This is also important so that the texture, movement and way the hair ages stay uniform from root to tip. 

Coloured by us, by hand

Every wig is coloured in-house using formulas and techniques we've developed and refined over the past decade. That applies to every wig on our website, and to the custom pieces we create for individual clients.

Recreating your own hair

For many of our clients, the goal is to look and feel like themselves again. We create custom wigs in which we  recreate the colour, length and way you've always worn your hair (often called biohair) ensuring that when you look in the mirror, you see YOU. 

The right size, from the start

Comfort begins with fit, so we offer in-store consultations to make sure you're choosing the correct cap size. A private area is available on request.

An honest word on hair

Did you know that there is no governing body for the hair industry. Hair can be imported from anywhere and labelled almost anything. We won't make promises we can't stand behind. What we can stand behind is ten years with one supplier, hair that has stayed consistent in that time, and our own hands on every wig before it reaches you.
