Do you offer medical discounts?
Supporting You Through Difficult Times — Our Medical Discount
We understand that hair loss can be one of the most emotional and life-altering journeys a person can go through. Whether it's the result of alopecia, chemotherapy, trichotillomania, or any other medical condition, we want you to know that we are here to support you — not just with a beautiful wig, but with genuine care, knowledge, and understanding.
As part of that support, we offer a medical discount for clients experiencing hair loss due to a medical condition, on both our human hair and synthetic wig ranges.
Human Hair Medical Discount
Our human hair medical discount is based on the length of wig you choose:
- 8", 10", 12" or 14" wigs — $150 discount
- 16" or 18" wigs — $200 discount
- 20" or 22" wigs — $300 discount
- 24", 26" or 28" wigs — $500 discount
This discount will be applied for you once you let us know you're accessing it for medical reasons — there's nothing extra you need to do at checkout.
Synthetic Medical Discount
For our synthetic wig range, we offer a 10% discount for clients experiencing hair loss due to a medical condition — simply use the code MEDICALTEN at checkout.
This is the same level of discount we generally offer through our various promotional codes, so please note only one discount code can be used per order.
How Our Medical Discount Works
We believe that asking someone to prove their hair loss during what is already a difficult time adds an unnecessary and unkind barrier. That's why we don't require medical certificates, doctor's letters, or any other documentation to access our medical discount.
If you're ordering a synthetic wig, simply apply the code MEDICALTEN at checkout. If you're ordering human hair, reach out to us and let us know you're experiencing hair loss due to a medical condition, and we will apply your discount for you. We trust you, and we are here to help — not to make this process any harder than it already is.
How to Access Your Discount
For synthetic wigs: apply the code MEDICALTEN at checkout — no need to contact us first.
For human hair wigs:
- Get in touch with us using the contact form below, by phone, or by email at info@lacefronts.com.au
- Let us know that you are experiencing hair loss due to a medical condition
- We will apply your discount, either for an online order or ahead of your in-store or video consultation
There is no form to fill out and no documentation to provide for either discount. We simply ask that you reach out, or apply your code, so we can take care of the rest.
You Deserve to Feel Like Yourself Again
Whatever has brought you to this page, we want you to know that you are not alone, and you don't have to navigate this on your own either. Our team has years of experience helping women find a wig that doesn't just cover hair loss — it gives them their confidence, and themselves, back.
If you're not sure where to start, we'd love to talk it through with you. Book a free consultation or get in touch using the form below.
Can I book an appointment?
Booking your first wig consultation can bring up all kinds of feelings — nerves, hope, uncertainty, maybe even a bit of dread. That's completely normal. This page will walk you through exactly what happens during your appointment and how to prepare, so you can arrive feeling as calm and informed as possible.
Don't Overthink It
We have the questions and the knowledge to help you find your perfect wig — all you need to do is turn up as you are and let us take care of the rest.
Don't Stress About Us Seeing Your Hair Loss
This is what we do, every day. We see every kind of hair loss and every kind of scalp, and we can tell you honestly that everyone who walks through our door is strong and beautiful, just like you. Not to be mushy, but this is exactly why we do what we do — to see that inner light, that smile, that confidence come back the moment the perfect piece goes on. Finding the right wig is genuinely life changing.
What to Bring
-
Photos of your hair before hair loss (if available) — even a casual phone photo helps us understand the colour, length, and style you're hoping to recreate
-
A support person, if you'd like one — many clients bring a partner, friend, or family member, and you are always welcome to do so
How Long Does a Consultation Take?
Most consultations run for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. We never rush — if you need more time to ask questions, try on different styles, or simply sit with your thoughts, we will give you that time. We often have women in for 2 or so hours, there is absolutely no rush.
What Happens During Your Appointment
We will start with a conversation — about your hair loss, your lifestyle- ie what do you need out of your wig, what you're hoping for, and any concerns you might have. From there, we will guide you through relevant options based on colour, length, cap type, and budget, and you are welcome to try on as many styles as you like. There is absolutely no pressure to purchase anything during your appointment.
There Is No Pressure to Buy
We know that some women feel anxious about being "talked into" a purchase. We want to be completely clear: our consultations exist to help you make the right decision for you, even if that decision is to take more time, see other options, or come back another day. You are always in control of this process.
What Happens Next
If you do decide to move forward with a wig and it is not in stock, we will talk you through the ordering process and expected lead times. We will keep you updated throughout, and you are always welcome to contact us with questions while you wait.
Ready to Book?
Whether you're feeling ready, nervous, or somewhere in between — we're here, and we will meet you exactly where you are. Consultations are available in person at our Gold Coast boutique, or via video or phone call for clients anywhere in Australia.
What size am I?
Finding Your Perfect Wig Size
Getting your measurements right is the single most important step before ordering any wig. A correctly sized wig sits securely, looks completely natural, and feels comfortable to wear all day. Follow the simple steps below to measure your head accurately before you order.
What You'll Need
- A soft, flexible measuring tape (the kind used for sewing works best)
- A mirror, or someone to help you
- A pen and paper to record your measurements
How to Measure Your Head
1. Circumference
Starting at your hairline at the centre of your forehead, wrap the measuring tape around your head — over your ears, around the back of your head at the nape of your neck, and back to your starting point. Keep the tape snug but not tight, the same way a wig should sit.
2. Front to Back (Head Depth)
Measure from your hairline at the centre of your forehead, over the top of your head, to the nape of your neck where your head meets your neck.
3. Ear to Ear (Across the Top)
Measure from the top of one ear, across the top of your head, to the top of the other ear.
4. Temple to Temple (Forehead Width)
Measure straight across your forehead from temple to temple, following your natural hairline.
Our Size Chart

Once you have your circumference measurement, compare it against the chart above to find your size. If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size, as our adjustable straps allow for a small amount of flexibility, while a wig that's too large is much harder to secure comfortably.
Still Not Sure?
If you're at all unsure about your measurements, or this is your first time ordering a wig, we are always happy to help. You're welcome to send us your measurements directly, or book a free consultation — in person at our Gold Coast boutique, or via video or phone call — and we will help you find the right fit together.

Why Getting Your Size Right Matters
A wig that's the correct size will sit securely without slipping, feel comfortable enough to forget you're wearing it, and allow the lace front to sit flush against your skin for the most natural-looking result. An incorrect size — particularly one that's too large — is one of the most common reasons a wig doesn't look or feel the way it should, so it's always worth taking the extra few minutes to measure properly before you order.
