We price by length only, which means you can choose any colour or style you like—whether that’s sleek and straight, voluminous curls, a bold cut, or a specific parting. The images on our website usually show a middle part with either a straight or curly finish, but if you have a specific look in mind, just upload a reference photo when placing your order and we’ll create it from scratch just for you.

Before we even begin the colouring or styling process of your custom wig, over 100 hours is spent creating the cap, in which individual strands of hair are hand tied into the lace of your wig. OUR LACE
Lace Fronts Australia only uses the softest, transparent HD Lace.
OUR HAIR
Our wigs are created using Brazilian Remi hair that is not only long lasting but looks, feels and smells amazing.
We use the hair of 1-2 donors, per wig. This ensures that the hair cuticles are aligned to prevent tangling and matting.
HAIR COLOURING
All of our wigs are hand coloured in Australia by professional hairdressers with years of wig experience. We create everything you see on the website, as well as many custom colours that we share on social media accounts and our Look Book.
All of our wigs are coloured using the professional colour ranges MUK & NAK. Both of these products are Australian made, vegan and create stunning tones that we are proud to bring to you.
Beyond our colour range and ability, no one can cut and style a wig like our team!
STYLING
A big part of styling starts in the washing and protecting process, think of it like skin care and make up. It is important to keep the hair clean and protect it with a leave in conditioner spray, thermal protector and serum.
We have used so many products and after years still swear by the MUK Hair Care range. It is all we use in our salon, and at home!
It has continuously proven to give the best results for our wigs.

CAP TYPES
Lace Fronts Australia currently offers 3 cap types that all boast perfectly natural hairlines with parting space from ear to ear and up to 6 inches back from the hairline. This is perfect for styling versatility, breathability, comfort and lightness.
The main difference between our three cap types is the ‘ear tabs’. Below we will going into more detail about the practicalities of each and you can decide based on your lifestyle, ability and experience which cap Is for you. As always, if you have any questions please reach out to us.
Cap Type 1-No Ear Tabs-EXPERT
- No ear tabs-EXPERT
- (13x6 lace- This means that there is 13 inches of lace from ear to ear and 6 inches from the hairline.) This cap type needs to be glued, taped or bobby pinned at the ears as this unit has no ‘ear tabs’ to keep the lace down at the sides. You don’t have to do this however if you like to tuck behind your ears or style your hair away from your face the lace will fold up at the sides without securing it. This is what makes this wig an ‘Expert’ level, this process of gluing the ears down can be difficult to start with. If this is your first wig, we recommend our ‘Beginner’ cap type with full ear tabs.
- Light ear tabs- INTERMEDIATE_ (13x6 lace With Light ear tabs-This means that there is 13 inches of lace from ear to ear and 6 inches from the hairline.) This intermediate level cap has ear tabs on the inside of the lace to lightly secure the sides. This cap type gives you the ability to customise the lace how you wish around the ears while still giving you the extra security. Perfect for using a small amount of your own hair from the sides to blend.
- Ear Tabs BEGINNER / COMPLETELY GLUE LESS
(11x5 inch lace with Ear Tabs-This means that there is 11 inches of lace from ear to ear and 5 inches from the hairline.) This beginner level cap has small ear tabs inserted on the inside of the lace to completely secure the sides without glues or tapes. This cap type gives you the ability to style easily, tuck behind your ears naturally and securely. Perfect for experienced and new wig wearers. Perfect to put on and go with no stress or fuss.
